Aireka Scientific Standard Silicone Lids for Cuvettes
Aireka Scientific offers high-quality standard silicone lids for cuvettes with pathlengths from 10mm up to 100mm. Our silicone lids are made of platinum-cured silicone, providing an airtight, chemically resistant seal for cuvettes during shaking, mixing, or storage. Our lids are available in a range of standard sizes to fit common cuvette types.
Features:
- Cuvette compatibility: We offer silicone lids sized to fit cuvettes with pathlengths of 10mm, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 70mm and 100mm. These sizes correspond to the most commonly used cuvette path lengths.
- Thickness: All silicone lids are 2mm thick to provide maximum durability for various applications. The 2mm thickness is sufficiently flexible to create an airtight seal on cuvette openings while maintaining structure.
- Number of ports: Our standard lids do not contain any ports. They provide a uniform sealing surface for basic cuvette mixing, shaking and storage needs. For applications requiring ports, tubes, or stirring mechanisms, customized lids would need to be fabricated.
- Sealing method: Silicone lids seal cuvettes through compression against the cuvette opening. They do not require additional O-rings or gaskets and form a tight seal for most standard uses. For higher pressure needs, customized lids with extra sealing options would need to be fabricated.
- Printing or labeling: Our standard silicone lids do not offer printing or labeling options. They provide a uniform surface. Printed or labeled lids would need to be customized.
